These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Mat Hartley · Goals and Training (the "Service"), provided by Mathew Hartley Consulting ("we", "us", "Mat Hartley"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The Service is a web application that lets you set goals across eight life domains, track daily actions toward those goals, follow a 40-day program of video lessons, and review your progress weekly. It is a self-directed personal development tool.
You must be 18 or older to use the Service. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at hartleymathew82@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
The 7-day free trial is your opportunity to evaluate the Service before paying. Once you upgrade and are charged, refunds are at our discretion and will be considered on a case-by-case basis if requested within 7 days of payment and you have not substantially used the paid content.
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting hartleymathew82@gmail.com. If you cancel mid-period, you keep access until the end of your paid year — there is no pro-rated refund.
Read this carefully. The Service provides educational content, frameworks, and a tracking system to support your personal goals. It does not guarantee any outcome. Your results depend on you — your effort, consistency, circumstances, and many factors outside our control. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something different.
Specifically, we make no representations or warranties that using the Service will result in financial gain, weight loss, improved health, career advancement, relationship outcomes, or any other measurable change in your life. Examples, case studies, or testimonials shared in the Service or marketing material reflect individual experiences and are not typical or guaranteed.
The Service is not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. The content reflects Mat Hartley's experience and views as a sales and marketing strategist, not a licensed professional in any of those fields.

All Service content (videos, text, design, code, branding) is owned by Mathew Hartley Consulting or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Service for your own personal development while your subscription is active.
Your goal-tracking entries, notes, and reviews remain yours. We process them only to provide the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act, where it applies).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mathew Hartley Consulting against any claim or loss arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
You can terminate by deleting your account or letting your subscription lapse. We can suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or non-payment, with reasonable notice except in cases of serious misuse.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and the "last updated" date will reflect when. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, except that small claims may be referred to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud where applicable.
